Mehazabien Chowdhury’s debut film “Saba” continues to shine on the international stage, recently securing third place in the Asian Cinema Competition at the prestigious Bengaluru International Film Festival. This achievement not only adds another feather to the actress’s cap but also marks a pivotal moment for Bangladeshi cinema, as the film gains recognition among top Asian productions.

The festival’s prestigious People’s Choice Award, determined by audience votes, includes “Saba” among its 25 competing films. Mehazabien expressed her pride, stating, “It’s a great honour for the entire team to be in the People’s Choice Award category. Our fingers are crossed as we await the announcement.”
