The film suffered at the box office after a sudden plunge in profit due to heightened competition from films like “Salaar” and “Animal”. However, this Rajkummar Hirani directorial film has continued a consistent performance with limited collection at the box office, reported several Indian media outlets.

Prabhas, a renowned South superstar, has returned with another thrilling action film titled "Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire," which hit theaters worldwide on Friday. Directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, “Salaar” had been highly anticipated throughout 2023. Despite concerns that the film might face a lukewarm response due to its release one day after Shah Rukh Khan's “Dunki”, thousands of people flocked to theaters on Friday to witness the cinematic spectacle.

The upcoming film has already generated a profit of Rs 100 crore even before the film’s release, however, the film was made on a reported cost of Rs 85 crore, which makes it one of the least expensive films of SRK in the recent years, according to several Indian media reports.

As of right now, “Salaar” is scheduled for a world-wide theatrical release on September 28. The film will also be available in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada.
