Bangladesh women’s team head coach Sarwar Imran suffered a minor brain stroke in Colombo on Monday, team manager SM Golam Faiyaz confirmed to The Daily Star today.

Imran is expected to take charge of the Tigresses for the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.

Despite being among the most experienced pacers in Bangladesh’s bowling unit, Mustafizur Rahman’s listless performances in the 50-over format have quickly become one of the biggest concerns for the Tigers in recent times
