Adam Sandler’s long-awaited sequel “Happy Gilmore 2” has taken the top spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched English-language films, registering 46.7 million views in just three days. Released on July 25, the film’s debut marks the biggest opening weekend ever for a Netflix film in the United States, and the most successful launch for any of Sandler’s original films on the platform.

Scheffler was detained when he attempted to drive past an officer to get into the Kentucky course as police dealt with congestion caused by a separate accident that he was not involved in, according to witnesses and US media reports.

Scheffler, the world number one and 2022 Masters winner, shot a final round four-under par 68 to end on 11-under for the tournament with Masters first-timer Ludvig Aberg of Sweden finishing runner-up.

Top-ranked Scottie Scheffler and world number two Rory McIlroy, each chasing a milestone Masters victory, will be playing partners in the first two rounds starting Thursday at Augusta National.
