The college-going daughter of Narayanganj seven-murder case lawyer Wazed Ali Khokon has been hospitalised after she has been allegedly poisoned with sweetmeats by miscreants in a bid to kill her.

The High Court yesterday cleared the way for a lower court to continue the trial proceedings against sacked Rapid Action Battalion official Lt Col (retd) Tareque Sayeed Mohammad in the Narayanganj seven-murder case.
