After a long hiatus, Mahfuz Ahmed is now back with a new film, "Prohelika", opposite actress Shabnom Bubly. Directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, the film will soon be released in theatres. In a candid conversation with The Daily Star, Mahfuz Ahmed shared his experience of working on the film and more.

According to the director, it will be a romantic comedy film where Bubly and Roshan will play the roles of cheaters who deceive rich people and take their money. Later, they distribute the money among the poor people. 

After a long break, Shabnom Bubly will be returning to the big screen opposite Mahfuz Ahmed.  In the meantime, the work for the film, “Prohelika” has been completed. Currently, the film is awaiting release.

Bubly and Bir were seen wearing customized black and white shari and panjabi respectively, on the occasion of International Mother Language Day.
