The nominations for the 69th edition of the Filmfare Awards have been announced recently. The biggest surprises of this round include two Best Actor nominations in the same year for Shah Rukh Khan for his performances in “Jawan” and “Dunki”. Crowd favourite “12th Fail” also got a bunch of nominations in major categories. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial “Animal” got the most nods at 19.

"Pathaan" was produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF). The company seems to be building its own spy-thriller universe—featuring "Pathaan" with Shah Rukh Khan, "War" with Hrithik Roshan, and "Tiger" with Salman Khan.

“Pathaan” was released in India on January 25. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film marks the return of Bollywood King, Shah Rukh Khan to the big screen after almost four years.

Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" continued its record-breaking journey at the box office, grossing Rs 429 crore in four days, according to production company Yash Raj Films (YRF) on January 29.

The song will be released on December 22, according to reports from ETimes.

Ever since the release of the song, “Besharam Rang”, it has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The song stirred a lot of controversies, with many Indians calling to 'boycott' the film.  Many have touted the song as being 'vulgar', saying that it goes against Indian culture.
