American actress Courtney Coffey is presently in Bangladesh, engrossed in the filming of Himel Ashraf’s “Rajkumar” alongside Shakib Khan. The filming of Shakib Khan's new movie "Rajkumar" is scheduled to commence the day after tomorrow (December 12). American actress Courtney Coffey is thus currently in Dhaka for the film's shoot.

Shakib Khan and Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan have been extremely occupied working on their film "Dorod" in different parts of India. The director, Anonno Mamun, recently disclosed that they have been filming for 21 hours a day, consistently for the past 12 days.

Apu Biswas, who is acclaimed for her portrayals in the silver screen, recently said that as Shakib Khan is called the king of Bengali mainstream cinema, as his co-star,she is too referred to as ‘Dhallywood Queen’.

Recently, Shakib Khan travelled to Mumbai for the shooting of his first-ever pan-Indian film, "Dorod". Prior to the shoot, during a press conference in Mumbai, Shakib Khan was introduced as 'Bangladesh's Shahrukh Khan'.

Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan has started shooting for his first pan-Indian movie "Dorod" in Banaras, Uttar Pradesh, India from October 27. The "Priyotoma" actor will be seen alongside Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan in the film.

The controversy between the two actresses, Apu Biswas and Bubly regarding their marriage with Shakib Khan had escalated quite a bit during last year, with both actresses demeaning each other in front of the media.

Despite their differences, Apu Biswas has nothing but love and adoration for Shehzad Khan Bir, whom she simply adores. 

In the wake of Shakib Khan’s troubles regarding attaining a visa to travel to India, the star finally reached Mumbai airport today in the afternoon, to shoot for Bangladesh's first Pan-Indian movie “Dorod” as the lead actor. He was welcomed warmly by the film's director Anonno Mamun.

Originally, the superstar was scheduled to depart for Mumbai, India, on October 15. The pre-production phase was in full swing with photoshoots, script reading sessions, and look tests arranged in Mumbai. However, the trip to India had to be postponed as the visa didn't arrive on time.

On October 20, the shooting for the joint production film "Dorod" between Bangladesh and India, began in Varanasi and Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, India. It was planned that Shakib Khan would participate in the shooting on that day. Prior to that, on October 15, he was supposed to go to Mumbai, India, but none of these plans came to fruition due to visa complications. Shakib Khan has not yet obtained the necessary work permit visa to enter India, so he couldn't travel there for the shooting. When he will eventually go is still uncertain.

Miss World Bangladesh Jessia Islam has officially signed up to appear in Shakib Khan starrer "Dorod", after having made her acting debut on the silver screen this year with “MR-9: Do or Die”.

The shooting of the film will begin in Banaras from October 20. “Since it is a pan-Indian cinema, so we will have the opportunity to release it simultaneously in for the audiences in Bangla, Tamil, and Telegu. After confirming the news to The Daily Star, Anonno Mamun shared that Shakib will surprise everyone with his look for this project, and at he is working on it at this very moment.
