Left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam, who was initially left out of the West Indies Test series due to injury, was today included in the squad for the second Test at Antigua. The pacer departed for West Indies this evening said that he was mentally ready to get the surprise call up with the first Test having just ended yesterday at Antigua and said that skipper Shakib Al Hasan’s confidence in the pace attack will inspire the pacers even more before the second Test.

Shoriful Islam (SI): It’s much better now. I feel a lot better. Hopefully the plaster will be removed by May 9 and then let’s see what happens.
