Deepto TV has announced a week-long special programme to mark Eid-ul-Fitr, featuring a lineup of Bengali films, including three world premieres.

Private TV channel Deepto has announced to host a “Shakib Week” from July 6 to 12, showcasing seven of Shakib Khan’s prominent films. This week-long event highlights the star's extensive filmography, despite no specific occasion prompting the celebration.

His collaborations with legendary music directors, especially R D Burman, resulted in a musical fusion that produced some of the most iconic and memorable tunes in the history of Indian cinema. The magic they created together, be it the haunting melodies of "Kabhi Kabhi" or the playful notes of "Yeh jo mohabbat hai", contributed to the evergreen quality of Kishore Kumar's discography.

After receiving positive response from the audience of Bangladesh, “Shikari” will be released in Kolkata on August 12, 2016. The movie will be shown in 150 movie halls, according to Shakib Khan.
