Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal says BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed will be repatriated for trial in several arson and vandalism cases soon after completion of his legal procedures in Indian court.

A court in Meghalaya frames charges against Salahuddin Ahmed for trespassing into Indian territory, a charge the BNP leader denied. Salahuddin, who went missing in Dhaka in March and was found in Shillong two months later, maintains that he was taken there forcibly.
