The "official" trailer of eminent Indian director Shyam Benegal’s “Mujib: The Making of A Nation” would be released soon, according to actor Arifin Shuvoo, who plays the role of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the biopic. A preliminary trailer of the film was launched in the Marché du Film Commercial Branch at the Indian pavilion of the Cannes Film Festival, on May 19.

Renowned Indian director Shyam Benegal expressed disappointment over the social media outrage regarding the trailer of the much-hyped film “Mujib: The Making of a Nation”.

The first trailer of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's biopic, "Mujib: The Making of a Nation", was unveiled in the  Marché du Film Commercial Branch at the Indian pavilion of the Cannes Film Festival, earlier today. 

Acclaimed Indian director Shyam Benegal plans to begin the shooting of his much-awaited feature film on the life and works of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Filming for the Bangladesh-India co-production is expected to begin in November this year and be completed by February next.
