A total of 21 suspected militants are arrested during a special crackdown throughout the country through yesterday, police headquarters say.

Over 3,200 people are detained countrywide on the third day of the anti-militancy crackdown. Among them only 34 were suspected militants.

Police have detained 2,132 people including 48 militants throughout the country as part of their week-long special crackdown on militants.

As part of a weeklong special crackdown, police in the first 24 hours arrested as many as 3,192 persons, including 37 suspected

Police claimed to have detained 37 militants and 3155 others in different cases across the country during the last 24 hours till this morning, on the second day of the nationwide crackdown on militants in the wake of recent killings.
