HM Ershad yesterday sought an appointment with Sheikh Hasina to discuss his plan to quit as the PM's special envoy and also the issue of resignation of three JP ministers, party sources said.

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad says he does not want to dishonour Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina by leaving from the post of her special envoy.

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad yesterday said he would resign as the special envoy to the prime minister and his party's three ministers from the cabinet in phases to play the role of a real opposition party.
