Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan made a remarkable comeback as the host of the 2025 Filmfare Awards, creating moments fans won’t soon forget. 

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to return as host of the Filmfare Awards in 2025, marking his first time taking on the role since 2008. According to the organisers’ announcement on Tuesday, he will be joined by Maniesh Paul and Karan Johar in co-hosting the prestigious ceremony.

The 71st edition of the awards turned into a milestone evening for the Hindi film industry, with Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji both achieving their long-awaited first National Awards.

Bollywood’s iconic onscreen duo Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are set to be immortalised in bronze, as their beloved romantic classic “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” (DDLJ) becomes the first Indian film to be honoured at London’s celebrated Scenes in the Square movie trail in Leicester Square.

Anthony Mackie, the new Captain America, hailed Shah Rukh Khan as the best and shared his wish to see the Bollywood icon join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as an Avenger.

Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan, known for their successful collaborations, are reportedly set to work together again. According to an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, Farah is currently developing a script for “Main Hoon Na 2”.

I firmly believe the Indian audience is discerning enough to separate fiction from reality. The notion that someone will start smoking simply because an actor does is outdated. There are far more pressing health issues to address than smoking in films,” he remarked.

Shah Rukh Khan is set to lead a star-studded cast in the upcoming film "Dunki," directed by Rajkumar Hirani. This eagerly anticipated movie features Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal, marking the first time they will share the screen. Fans can look forward to its release on December 22, just in time for Christmas.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Jawan" received an excellent response from theaters worldwide on September 7. The film was released in Bangladesh on the same day as its global premiere date.
