Oscar-nominated actor Amy Adams and "Doctor Who" star Matt Smith are joining the cast of the upcoming movie "Star Wars: Starfighter," Walt Disney, opens new tab announced on Thursday (August 29).

Lucasfilm has officially announced “Star Wars: Starfighter”, a new chapter in the iconic franchise, with Ryan Gosling leading the cast and Shawn Levy directing. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on May 28, 2027, with production set to begin this Fall.
