Bangladesh Navy begins its journey as a “three-dimensional force” as two submarines are commissioned at a special ceremony in Chittagong naval jetty. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurates the two submarines, BN Nabajatra and BN Joyjatra.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday said two submarines will be inducted into Bangladesh Navy this year for the first time, aiming to transform it into a three-dimensional force.
