Fire in two separate locations within the Chandpai Range of the Sundarbans East Forest Division has damaged approximately 5.5 acres of forestland.

The fire in Teisher Chila-Shaplar Beel area near Dhan Sagar Station, under the Eastern Sundarbans Forest Division, has been doused after nearly 48 hours.
