Recently, Priyadarshan celebrated his 68th birthday where he expressed his desire to direct “Hera Pheri 3” featuring the original trio Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty.

Suniel Shetty, well known for his role in "Hera Pheri", recently made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote his brand-new reality series, "Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt". The show is focused on mixed martial arts (MMA).

Indian news outlet Pinkvilla also reported that Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal have recently met producer Firoz Nadiadwala in Mumbai, to discuss “Hera Pheri 3”
