Tama Mirza and Afran Nisho notably collaborated for the first time in the hit “Surongo”. Now, the duo is set to reunite in the upcoming movie “Daagi”.

Celebrated actor Afran Nisho recently announced that the long-awaited shooting for his next film is set to begin in November or December this year, with the movie expected to be released during next year’s Eid-ul-Azha. The actor also revealed that he will continue working in films but in his own distinctive style.

Zahid Hasan has been appearing less frequently in TV dramas, primarily due to dissatisfaction with the storylines. This led him to consciously reduce the number of projects he takes on. News of his acting endeavours has since become rare. 

Tama Mirza has been honoured with the National Film Award for her performance in the movie Nodijon. She has garnered audience acclaim through both OTT platforms and films. Her role in the recent movie Surongo earned her significant praise, and she has maintained her success with performances in several web films.

Despite the keen interest of filmmakers to cast Nisho in their films, the actor has been notably absent from the silver screen since then, leaving fans wondering about his next move. The anticipation amongst fans reached a crescendo yesterday when it was announced that the actor has signed not one but two films.

After the massive success of "Baje Shobhab", Rehaan Rasul has consistently delivered super hit tracks. From the enchanting melodies of "Rupkothar Jogote" to the heart-warming "Gaa Chuye Bolo", the artiste has solidified his presence in the world of showbiz. Star Cineplex has unveiled the list of films with the most significant opening at the theatres. Amongst them, three local movies has secured a spot, with Shah Rukh Khan leading the chart with his blockbuster "Jawan".

Producers, hall owners, production and distributing companies and actors are not ready to take any risks amid rampant blockades, hartals, political conferences and election campaigns.

Moreover, shows for Bubly and Nirab Hossain featurette "Casino" have been decreased by 15 halls. It was released in 16 halls across the country. The director of the film informed the media that it might get more halls in its third week. He also added that the film is in the talks for an international release as well.

Yesterday, Raihan Rafi released the teaser of his much awaited film "Surongo", where audiences get to witness a mysterious Nisho as he jumps into the tunnel. 

Nisho will be making his silver screen debut—opposite the actress Tama Mirza—through this film.
