Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra artiste Bulbul Mahalanobish left us for the good on Friday (July 14). Due to old age complications, the 70-year-old artiste breathed her last at her own residence. The singer is survived by her son, who lives in the US. Thus, the decision of her last ritual was on hold. However, today, (July 17), the people of the cultural arena bid her farewell with floral tributes.

The singer had also demonstrated her ability in organisational positions as well. She was the Vice President at Nazrul Sangeet Shilpi Parishad and the General Secretary at Rabindra Academy. She also played important roles in different associations such as Udichi and more.
