The narrative highlights the social stigmas that a transgender face for being outside the general “male or female” category.

Sushmita Sen will be playing transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant in the web-series "Taali" which is directed by Ravi Jadhav. 

The teaser for Sushmita Sen's long-awaited web series "Taali" was released yesterday. The actress will play Mumbai-based transgender campaigner Shreegauri Sawant, aka Gauri Sawant. 

She had suffered a heart attack earlier this month and underwent an angioplasty, letting her concerned fans know after the procedure had been done.
