Australia took the late wicket of Tagenarine Chanderpaul to even the contest after a fascinating second day's play in the second Test against the West Indies in Brisbane on Friday.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul made an unbeaten double century after setting a new West Indies record of 336 for the first wicket with Kraigg Brathwaite on Monday before the tourists declared at 447-6 in the first Test against Zimbabwe.

West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite and Tagenarine Chanderpaul became the first opening pair to bat in excess of 100 overs in an innings in the 21st century during the first Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo on Monday.
