Deepto TV has announced a week-long special programme to mark Eid-ul-Fitr, featuring a lineup of Bengali films, including three world premieres.

This line perfectly defines what “Ghumpori” is all about—a tale of endless love that will make you cry and smile, yet still leave you longing for the kind of love Megh (Pritom Hasan) has for Jyoti (Tanjin Tisha). It's a love story that defies logic and makes you question how one can fall in love with someone they've never met and dedicate their entire life to fulfilling their dreams.

“Everyone knows how to love, but only a few can hold on to their loved ones.” As Tanjin Tisha delivers this line in the official “Ghumpori” trailer, we wonder how the love triangle between her, Pritom Hasan, and Parsha Mahjabeen Purnee will unfold in the upcoming web-film by Chorki.

Recently, actors Runa Khan, Mehazabien Chowdhury, and Tanjin Tisha found themselves at the centre of controversies for different reasons. However, during a recent award show, they all addressed the issues head-on and clarified their positions.

Tanjin Tisha, known for her striking performances, is making her debut on the Chorki platform with “Ghumpori”. The actress shared her enthusiasm for the project, stating that she chose the film because of its compelling story. “Anyone who hears about or watches this story will be enchanted,” Tisha said. “It would have been a mistake to pass on this project. I believe the audience will love it.”

Rafi has hinted that the story of “Black Money” is a significant departure from his usual narratives, expressing his excitement about working on this unique project. He also hinted that the cast reveal will surprise many. Meanwhile, there are rumours that film actor Rubel may join the cast, though both Rafi and the production company have opted to keep all official announcements for the press event.

Tanjin Tisha has already signed on for the series, though Rafi, Tisha, and Bongo’s team are keeping details under wraps for now. Bongo’s Chief Content Officer Mushfiqur Rahman Manju, confirmed, “Shooting will begin very soon. We’ll officially announce everything then. For now, we’re holding off on revealing the cast details.”

The recently aired drama "Narasundari", starring Tanjin Tisha, has garnered significant attention after its broadcast on Banglavision and subsequent release on their YouTube channel. The drama, based on a story by Ahmed Tawkir and directed by Rafat Mozumder Rinku, has been well-received by the audience.

While there were few noteworthy offerings last Eid-ul-Fitr for OTT, this upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, platforms have arranged for a lineup of web-series and films that are sure to entertain.

Actress Tanjin Tisha has recently made her debut in the world of web films with the premiere of "Poison", directed by Sanjay Samaddar. The film, which premiered on Deep Play yesterday, follows the tumultuous journey of actress Rupa Mirza, played by Tanjin Tisha.

After her father's passing, Bonnhi, a young college graduate, is abruptly mandated to take up his profession to support her family. She takes up scissors and razors in the village bazaar, riding her father’s old bicycle to take her late father’s spot as a barber. Initially, she fights an uphill battle as the villagers are reluctant to let her do the job. Although the villagers grow accustomed to her skills, her family still becomes the victim of chronic discrimination, eventually forcing them to leave the area. 

Herlan Bangladesh was the title sponsor, and all of its brand ambassadors, including Shakib Khan, performed and walked the ramp with some of the gorgeous ladies in showbiz.

"Poison" promises to be a gripping addition to the Eid entertainment lineup. The production company announced the teaser release through a press statement, heightening anticipation for the film’s debut.

The director has wrapped up shooting for his thriller web-film titled "Poison-Excess of Anything," which will air on Deepto Play.

A new chapter in Bengali drama/telefilm has unfolded globally, originating not from Bangladesh or India but from the UK – the Hindi dubbing of a Bengali telefilm, with English subtitles, thus scored a significant milestone.

Meanwhile, two trailers from the three dramas have already been revealed, while one is yet to be released. Further updates will be announced alongside the release date of each drama on CMV’s Facebook page.
