Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said her government will implement the Teesta project with assistance from India and it has got assurances from the neighbouring country in this regard.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today said her government will receive the most beneficial proposal for the country and its people over implementation of the Teesta master plan project

The government should implement the Teesta master plan by raising local funds to save people around the Teesta basin, demanded leaders of Teesta Bachao Nadi Bachao Sangram Parisahd in Rangpur yesterday.
