Renowned actor and comedian Tele Samad breathed his last at the city's Square Hospital recently. He was born on January 8, 1945, in Mymensingh. Tele Samad, who made his debut in 1973 with the movie, 'Kar Bou', acted in around 600 films.

Gravely ill noted comedian and film actor Tele Samad is undergoing treatment at the high dependency unit (HDU) of Square Hospitals in the capital.
