The Belgium goalkeeper has missed the past three matches for the Spanish team with an injury.

Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been ruled out of Euro 2024, national team coach Domenico Tedesco said Tuesday.

"He's well, I think he will be available to travel with us next week (to Munich) and he can play against Cadiz," Ancelotti told a news conference.

"Real Madrid and Chelsea FC have agreed on the loan of player Kepa Arrizabalaga until June 30, 2024," the Spanish club said in a statement.

Real Madrid suffered a huge blow on the eve of the new La Liga season with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during training on Thursday.

Thibaut Courtois has refused to make the trip to Tallinn for Belgium's Euro 2024 qualifier against Estonia on Tuesday after being overlooked for the stand-in captaincy last week.

"From the start we expected them to press and not let us play our way out with the ball. They pushed a lot of players up to keep us in our box," Courtois said.

"The goalkeeper is out at the last minute due to gastroenteritis and is not travelling with the team," said Madrid in a statement Tuesday morning
