The weather department has predicted rain across Bangladesh in the next 24 hours.

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places.

Temporary west-northwesterly ‘Kalbaishakhi’ squall in association with rain or thunder showers and lightning flashes is likely to occur in 15 districts during next 18 hours commencing 1:00pm.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places across Bangladesh, says Met office.
