Although the gridlock on Dhaka-Chittagong highway has been reduced to four or five kilometres at Comilla point, people continue to suffer in tailbacks at several points.

Authorities have successfully cut down on the tailback that has been plaguing the Dhaka-Chittagong highway for the last five days and reached a length of 114 kilometres yesterday. Last reported, there was a 10-kilometre tailback in Feni and about 12-kilometre more in Daudkandi.
