Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka this morning on a six-day visit to the United Kingdom.

President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today congratulated Tulip Siddiq, granddaughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Rushanara Ali and Rupa Huq for winning the UK parliamentary polls.

Tulip Siddiq, Rushanara Ali and Rupa Huq, the three Bangladesh-origin candidates, are elected in the parliamentary polls in UK that was held yesterday.
