US President Donald Trump said later on Tuesday that Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelensky has told him Kyiv was ready for talks with Russia and the finalisation of a US minerals deal, days after the pair’s explosive White House meeting.

Since the Ukraine-Russia war which began in 2022, Ukrainian drone operators have collected over 2 million hours of video, equivalent to 228 years of footage, to support AI-driven decision-making in combat, according to a recent report by Reuters.

This ever-increasing Ukrainian death toll is painting a grimmer picture of the country as its military is being bled to white by Russia.
