The health directorate has shut down 185 more unauthorised private hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, and blood banks as the countrywide drive stepped to the fourth day yesterday (May 31, 2022).

DGHS needs a realistic plan to bring unauthorised hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres under regulation.

The 'discovery' of yet another private hospital operating without proper authorisation accentuates the worsening conditions of the health services in the country.
