Nitrogen runoff from excessive urea application contributes to water pollution and eutrophication

Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) approved three proposals paving the way for purchasing 80,000 tonnes of urea fertiliser at the cost of Tk 172.27 crore.
