Exporters in Bangladesh are unable to take the full benefit of the devaluation of the taka against the US dollar amid ongoing inflationary pressure and rising production costs, according to industry people.

The Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers' Association (Bafeda) and the Association of Bankers' Bangladesh (ABB) increased the rate at a virtual meeting

From the beginning of March, bankers have been paying Tk 104 for a dollar to exporters.
