Khaleda Zia is re-elected chairperson, and her elder son Tarique Rahman senior vice-chairman of BNP as no-one else collected nomination for the posts.

BNP Vice-Chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury resigns from all posts of the party citing health reasons. He submitted his resignation letter to the party’s acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday.
