Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall for five days commencing 9:00am today in different areas of the country

The lowest temperature in the country today was recorded at 10.2 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat, Kurigram. In Dhaka, the minimum temperature stood at 14.5 degrees Celsius.

Dense fog and cold weather have gripped the eight districts of Rangpur division and five other districts

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at different places over the country, said a weather bulletin this morning
