Police have arrested a suspect in the harassment and assault of several women at Cox’s Bazar sea beach and Lal Dighi area of the beach town on the night of September 11.

Several women were harassed and assaulted by a group of men in Cox’s Bazar, with footage of the incidents circulating on social media.

It has been 13 years since the High Court gave directives to form sexual harassment complaint committees in the workplace and educational institutions, but there has been little to no progress so far.
