Bangladesh High Commission in Pretoria opens hotline numbers for the citizens of the country for any support following the xenophobic attacks on the expatriates by South Africans.

At least seven Bangladeshi expatriates are injured and some four of their shops burnt in an attack by local miscreants at Thokoza of Johannesburg.

Foreign-owned shops in South Africa have been attacked and looted in eastern Johannesburg, the latest in a series of xenophobic attacks.
