In times of national crisis, Bangladesh’s entertainment industry is often among the hardest hit. From artistes to crew members, everyone faces hardship due to a lack of work and opportunities. Actor Ziaul Roshan has recently expressed concerns about the struggle to maintain a stable livelihood in such uncertain times, highlighting the challenges when work for artistes dries up. 

Helmed by director Masud Zakaria Sabin and written by Shahzada Shahid, “Roilo Baki Dosh” spans 10 episodes of intense drama and suspense. The series features popular actors FS Nayeem, Orchita Sporshia, Ziaul Roshan, and Shatabdi Wadud, whose performances breathe life into the intricate characters.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Mohammad Iqbal's film “Revenge” hit 15 theatres with Ziaul Roshan and Shobnom Bubly in the lead roles. Despite the initial buzz, the film has struggled to attract audiences in both single-screen theatres and multiplexes. In a disappointing turn of events, “Revenge” was pulled from Star Cineplex just five days after its release due to poor performance.

Shakib Khan’s upcoming film “Tufan” is not the only movie creating buzz for this Eid. His co-star, actress Shobnom Bubly, also has a feature set lined up for the upcoming Eid release. 

Ziaul Roshan starrer "Deadbody" made a swift exit from Star Cineplex just three days after its grand release. Directed by Md Iqbal, the movie stars Omar Sani, Shamol Mawla, Rashed Mamun Apu, and Indian actress Aunweshha Roy, amongst others in pivotal roles. However, despite its promising lineup, the film failed to captivate audiences as expected.

Ziaul Roshan's family is now complete with the arrival of his baby boy, born yesterday.

Thirteen Bangla films were scheduled for release tomorrow on Eid, but just two days before the occasion, two movies have pulled out from the competition.

In the midst of a star-studded lineup of movies, ”Maya”, starring Shobnom Bubly has been added to the anticipated list. The movie will showcase Bubly opposite three heroes, vying for her love.

After the announcement of the film last October, the shooting was conducted in Bandarban. Popular actors Ziaul Roshan and Aunweshha Roy will be playing significant roles in the film.

The romantic drama will feature Shabnam Bubly and Ziaul Roshan as its leads. The shooting concluded with the shooting of the last song of the film, confirmed the film’s director Jasim Uddin Jakir.

The well-known Dhallywood actor Omar Sani, who began his career as a protagonist, has transformed from his good-boy image to a notorious on-screen villain.

Ziaul Roshan is all set to start shooting for Md Iqbal’s film “Dead Body” at Dhaka’s Aminbazar, today. Not long ago, the muhurat ceremony of the movie took place at BFDC, where the main cast was introduced.

The crime-thriller was different from the rest of the Eid releases this year, and had the potential to be the biggest hit from this Eid.

The film is said to be based on real events. Focused on paranormal and supernatural activities, the horror film has been directed by Nader Chowdhury.

"The first thing I noticed was that it is a challenge to make good films regularly," the actor shared on his journey into the film industry.
