Time and again, Bangladeshi pioneering folk fusion band Shironamhin has established itself at the forefront of Bangladeshi musical leaders. Armed with a melodic identity that celebrates tradition whilst adapting modernity, Shironamhin has journeyed to maintain our cultural devoutness. Founded in the late 1990s, they utilise their culturally unique identity as musical storytellers to travel across the world for the sake of their fans and leadership.

In May 2019, the band Shironamhin made a comeback with the song “Ei Obelay”. At a time when the band was struggling to meet fan expectations with a new vocalist, this song served as a lifeline for Shironamhin. Now, almost five years later, the band is releasing a sequel, “Ei Obelay 2”. 

Shironamhin has been actively performing stage shows to aid flood victims with continuous concerts since last month.

Following violent clashes between student protesters and Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists at different public universities around the country, celebrities have voiced their support for the quota reform movement.
