Zohad Reza Chowdhury, frontman of the renowned band Nemesis, today revealed that his wife Mahreen is free of cancer. After receiving a confirmed diagnosis from her doctor, he chose to share the encouraging news via his official Facebook page noting that more treatment is still in store for Mahreen.

Music played a pivotal role in inspiring the nation to rise against the fascist and autocratic regime of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina. From Shezan’s stirring “Kotha Ko” to Hannan’s powerful “Awaaz Utha Bangladesh”, the youth united in a quest for democracy against a corrupt government. 

Popular musicians Tahsan, Pritom Hasan, Khayam Sanu Sandhi, along with the band Nemesis, will be performing at Shajgoj’s female concert on December 2.
