The High Court yesterday upheld the death sentences of five former Chhatra League activists and acquitted four others in the Jahangirnagar University student Zubair Ahmed murder case.

The High Court has fixed January 23 for delivering its verdict on the death reference and appeals in sensational Zubair Ahmed murder case in 2012.
