IBA Legacies 2019 is live

Representatives of the English debating circuit in Bangladesh have secured multiple championships and personal accolades on the global stage over the years. With their indelible contributions in mind, Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka (IBA-DU) is hosting Guardian Life Insurance Limited presents IBA Legacies 2019, powered by SELISE, in association with Mutual Trust Bank Limited. It is a first-of-its kind tournament, from 20-21 December of 2019. The tournament will feature debaters from IBA DU, BRAC, NSU, IUB, IUT, CU and DU.

The tournament is intervarsity in nature, but participants aren’t required to be currently enrolled. Iconic debating figures, most of whom have long since graduated from their respective universities, will return to the podium and represent their past institutions in the tournament. The tournament will connect them with the new generation of debaters, many of whom will get to watch them perform for the first time.
