Using WhatsApp in desktop will now require biometric authentication
Amidst all the heat, WhatsApp has brought in a new feature to ensure security for WhatsApp desktop or web. Now, if your device supports, you will need to authentic using your face or fingerprint while enabling a desktop or web session. Amidst all the heat it is receiving, WhatsApp's this feature will ensure snooper are not able to activate a web session without your approval. Once your login using QR code, you will be prompted to authentic it.
How do you turn it on?Here is how you can enable the biometric security option enabled.
1. Tap settings icon ) WhatsApp Web
2. Hit the plus icon and then follow the instructions if your phone supports biometric authentication
3. Select the "keep me signed in" option on the QR code page on your computer if you wish to stay logged in
