Sayeed Khokon (Endorsed by Awami League)

- To ease traffic congestion in the city

-To ensure pollution free safe Buriganga River

-To supply adequate water, gas and electricity

- To create a clean, pollution free and healthy Dhaka city

-To wage war against corruption, extortion and criminal activities to ensure citizen's safety

-To launch special bus service for women

-To construct more underpass, foot-over bridge and multi storied building for car parking

- To set up city’s individual power plant

-To resolve water logging problem in the city

-To set up a people's consultative centre ensuring people's participation to run the city administration

Mirza Abbas (Endorsed by BNP)

- To provide safe and clean Dhaka

- To bring the city corporation’s tax rates down from the existing 27 percent and make them affordable for all
