9 promoted to secretary

The government has promoted nine additional secretaries to the rank of secretary.

The public administration ministry today issued a gazette notification in this regard.

The officers were posted to different ministries and divisions as acting secretary until the promotion.

MA Hannan, acting secretary to the liberation war ministry, has been made secretary to the ministry; Nazrul Islam, acting secretary to the Cabinet Division, has been appointed secretary to the division; and Shyam Sundor Shikdar, acting secretary to Information and Communication Technology Division, has been made secretary to the division.

Besides, Shahidullah Khandokar, acting secretary to the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division, has been made secretary to the division; and Mohammad Shafikul Azam, acting secretary to Planning Division, has been made secretary to the division.

Md Humayun Khalid and Arastu Khan, acting members of the Planning Commission, have been made members of the commission.

Meanwhile, Shyamol Kanti Ghosh, acting member to Privatisation Commission; and Maksudul Hasan Khan, acting secretary to Anti-Corruption Commission, have been attached to the public administration ministry as officer on special duty (OSD).
