Aishwarya, her daughter hospitalised with ‘mild Covid-19 symptoms’

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya, who had been quarantined at home after testing positive for Covid-19, were admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, the Indian media reported last night.

Aishwariya, 46, and Aaradhya, 8, who tested positive on July 12 and remained in isolation at the Bachchans' family residence in Mumbai, were admitted to Nanavati Hospital after "developing mild symptoms" of Covid-19, the hospital sources confirmed.

Aishwarya's husband Abhishek and his father, Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan are also in Nanavati Hospital after both tested positive last week.

All the Bachchan family members, except Jaya Bachchan, tested positive for coronavirus earlier this week.
