A Tangail court today issued an arrest warrant against a former upazila nirbahi officer of Basail in connection with a case filed against him by a female college student over sexual harassment and cheating last year.
Tangail Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Monira Sultana passed the order after the complaint brought against ex-UNO Manzur Hossain was proved during a preliminary investigation by Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), Md Rasel Rana, lawyer of the plaintiff, told our Tangail correspondent.
