Boat movement suspended in Kaptai Lake

All types of boat movement in Rangamati's Kaptai Lake have been suspended amidst low pressure and heavy rainfall in the region today.

Rangamati Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Habib Ullah confirmed the development to The Daily Star.

The DC said the decision was taken by the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority to ensure public safety, adding that all have been informed of the decision.
