Fire breaks out at Khulna jute mill

A fire broke out at a jute mill factory in Khulna's Rupsha upazila this afternoon.

Eight firefighting unit are trying to douse the blaze that originated at Asian Jute Mills at Alaipur Bazar area around 12:25pm, said leader Mohammad Hazzaz of Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room in Khulna.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he said.
